What renters go through

Before a renter can complete a booking on ardena they go through Dojah's identity check:

  1. Government ID submission — national ID, passport, or driver's licence photographed through the app.
  2. Database authentication — Dojah checks the document against official government records and detects tampering.
  3. Facial match — a selfie is biometrically matched to the ID photo.
  4. Liveness detection — confirms a real person is present, not a photo or video.

Once verified, the renter receives a Verified status visible to hosts. Hosts can see who is requesting their vehicle before they approve a booking.

What this means when you rent

Most verifications through Dojah complete within minutes. Once your Verified status is active it applies to all future bookings — you only go through the process once.
