Know someone with a car sitting idle? Bring them to ardena and you earn on every car they list, and again when that car gets booked. Renters and hosts can both refer.
How it works
Four steps, then you get paid
There is no form to fill in and nothing to apply for. Your referral link and code are already waiting in the app.
Open your app
Find your referral link and code in the ardena app if you rent, or the ardena host app if you host. Both work the same way.
Share it
Send the link or the code to anyone with a car they are not using every day. Family, colleagues, a neighbour with a second vehicle.
They join and list
They sign up as a host using your link or code, get verified, and put their first car on ardena.
You earn, per car
KSh 150 for each car they list, and KSh 200 more once that car gets booked. Every car they add is another payout.
How KSh 3,500 adds up
Referral earnings are counted per car, not per sign-up. The more cars your host puts on ardena, the further a single referral goes.
When a car is listed
Paid for every car your referred host adds to ardena, once the listing is verified and live.
When that car gets booked
Paid on top of the listing amount, the first time that car takes a booking on the platform.
Per car, in full
Listed and booked. That is what one car from your referred host is worth to you.
A host can list up to ten cars on ardena. Ten cars at KSh 350 each is KSh 3,500 from one referral, and there is no limit on how many hosts you refer.
Amounts are in Kenyan shillings and apply per referred host. Payouts follow the same schedule as the rest of your ardena earnings.
Who can refer
You do not have to own a car to earn from this. Every ardena account comes with a referral link and code.
Renters
You rent on ardena and you know people with cars. That is all it takes.
- Your code lives in the ardena app, alongside your trips.
- The person you refer joins as a host, not as a renter.
- You earn the same KSh 350 per car a host would.
Hosts
Already listing with us? Bring another owner along and earn beside your rental income.
- Your code lives in the ardena host app, next to your listings.
- Referral earnings sit apart from what your own cars make.
- Refer as many hosts as you like.
Where to find your link and code
Both ardena apps carry the same referral tools. Pick the one you already use.

For renters. Open the app, go to your profile, and copy your referral link or code from the referral section.

For hosts. Your referral link and code sit in your profile, in the same place you manage your listings and payouts.
Share it anywhere
Send the link by message, post the code, or say it out loud. Whoever you refer enters it when they sign up.
Good to know
A few details worth reading before you start sharing.
Paid per car
The reward follows cars, not sign-ups. A host who lists five cars is worth more to you than one who lists a single car.
The cap is per host
KSh 3,500 is the most a single referred host can earn you, based on ten cars at KSh 350 each.
Use the code at sign-up
Ask your referral to sign up through your link, or enter your code when they register, so the referral is credited to you.
New hosts only
Referrals apply to people joining ardena for the first time. Existing accounts cannot be referred again.
